We created Axis North Health because too many women enter perimenopause feeling confused, alone, or dismissed — and you deserve better than that. This chapter isn’t an ending; it’s a shift into your strongest, clearest, most intuitive self. You deserve real clarity, real support, and someone who actually listens and explains what’s happening in your body without fear or shame. My role is simple: to walk with you, steady you, and give you the guidance you should have had all along.

Jeff G. Pond, PhD — Founder, Axis North Health

I’m Jeff, founder of Axis North Health.

I hold a PhD in Leadership and Human Behavior and a master’s degree in Kinesiology. My professional background spans strength and conditioning, high-performance coaching, and leadership roles in wellness environments across the United States and Europe.

Throughout my work — from managing fitness and wellness facilities in the Bay Area to serving as an educational leader in American international schools across Europe — I consistently observed a gap in how midlife women were supported through perimenopause and menopause. Across cultures, the pattern was the same: complex physiological changes, limited clear guidance, and inconsistent science.

Axis North Health was created to address that gap.

My work integrates exercise physiology, behavioral science, stress regulation, and applied leadership psychology to bring structure to midlife health. Everything shared through this platform is grounded in peer-reviewed research and practical application — not trends, fear-based messaging, or guesswork.

The mission is simple: to provide clear, systems-based guidance that respects women’s intelligence and supports long-term strength — physically, cognitively, and emotionally.

With care,
Jeff Pond, PhD - Founder, Axis North Health

RaNon Chaussee — Contributing Collaborator & Women’s Wellness Advocate

I’m RaNon, a contributing collaborator at Axis North Health.

I have over a decade of experience as a union electrician working in physically demanding, high-stress environments, and was honored as Oregon Tradeswoman of the Year for my advocacy supporting women in the trades. My work has centered on strength, resilience, and advocating for women in demanding, high-accountability environments.

I am also involved in preserving the legacy of the original Rosie the Riveters through national outreach and historical education. Their example continues to inform how I think about women’s labor, resilience, and long-term health.

Today, my focus is women’s wellness — particularly supporting those navigating perimenopause, menopause, high-stress careers, and caregiving roles. I am pursuing advanced training in perimenopause education, holistic wellness coaching, and massage therapy, bringing lived experience and practical insight into the work of Axis North Health.

My role is to help ensure that the platform’s structured, science-informed guidance remains grounded in real life — supportive, realistic, and aligned with the strength women already carry.

With strength and compassion,
RaNon Chaussee - Co-Collaborator & Women’s Wellness Advocate
